- The instances when the modification can take place
There are two instances when the modification can take place.

- The details that can be modified
The modification process allows for a variety of details to be modified.
With regard to the actual details that can be changed, they are as follows.
- Business Name
- Business Address
- Addition, deletion or retirement of partners, directors, managing committee, CEO, etc.
- Registered Mobile Number
- Registered Email Address
It should be noted that the changes made in the case of business name and details about the personnel (partners, directors, etc) will be updated in records across all the states of India.
- The Modification Procedure
In order to modify the details of a GST no, in delhi or any other Indian state, one will have to fill up the necessary details in FORM GST REG-14, along with the necessary documents. The process is rather similar to the one required to register for gst, in Delhi or any other Indian state.
Once filed, the same will be scrutinized by the relevant GST officer, after which it is approved. The usual time duration for this takes around 15 days, or about two weeks.
