Simone Biles was born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus, Ohio to Ron and Nellie Biles. Simone has two sisters, Adria and Mailee. Simone’s mother had been a National level gymnast while her father had been an All-American swimmer at Ohio State University. Simone had started doing gymnastics when she was 3 years old with coach Aimee Boorman at the Excalibur gym in Houston, Texas. Her parents were very supportive of her talent and they would take her to practices with them so that she could be around other people who shared the same interests as she did.
