Welcome to Sydney! The city of Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, Royal Botanic Garden, and many more daytime sightings will make you sigh. Yet, one more attraction makes this Australian metropolis stand out, and that’s its bustling nightlife. From dancing to after-dinner drinks, here are some of the best nightlife spots Sydney has to offer.
Soda Factory
Soda Factory is a popular cocktail bar in Surry Hills that will surprise you with its affordable prices. Usually, Sydney nightlife is costly, but in this case, you will enjoy good food and dancing to soul and pop hits without breaking a bank. With American diner décor, this is a casual spot to hang out with friends and just have fun.
However, these plaster murals and neon signs are a lot more than burgers and fried chicken. Live bands and DJs perform here regularly, while the bar will make you cocktails with a classic twist, like bubble-gum martinis.
Restaurant Hubert
The best Sydney nightlife is not only about clubbing, but you won’t regret stopping by one of its exquisite restaurants to dine. Hubert is a culinary and visual marvel where you will feel like dining in the theatre on Montmartre in Paris. It has three bars and a huge dining area in the center with Allie Webb lithographs and jazz music in the background.
Everything here is inspired by French artistry and culture, from dishes to antique furniture. The signature drink is Martini, although Hubert has an impressive wine selection you won’t be able to resist. Of course, being French also means that you can order escargot in a special spicy sauce.
Home
Often referred to as Sydney’s super club, Home has one of the most beautiful views considering it’s in Darling Harbour. Three levels and eight rooms play techno, hip hop, electro, trance, house, and other music played by the guest and regular DJs.
Those who want to dance the night away will love this place with lighting effects and amazing sound. Every Friday, Home hosts “Voodoo” parties when the best trance performers from all over the world and Australia spice up the night. Margaritas are to die for, although a little stronger than you might be used to, so drink slowly and enjoy the buzz.
Oxford Art Factory
Fans of live music events will love Oxford Art Factory in Darlinghurst. The club draws inspiration from a famous Factory owned by Andy Warhol and the center of the New York art scene in the 1960s. Oxford Art Factory has three areas “The Live Art Space”, “The Gallery”, and “The Cube” that can function independently from one another to host performance art, live music, and visual art exhibitions.
This is the place where Lady Gaga had its first performance in Sydney, but also where many Australian performers and artists started. Thursday to Saturday is reserved for live performances, excellent craft beer, and dancing.
New Liaisons
Sydney brothels and escort services are legal since 1988 and the city has a great offer of long-held and luxurious establishments, like Liaisons. This brothel with a 40-year tradition offers 6-star hotel rooms and guaranteed discretions just a few minutes from the city in Edgecliff.
Beautiful ladies, high-quality service, and professional service make the New Liaisons one of the best and most trusted in Sydney. Role-playing with costumes, striptease, and voyeurism are available at request, and it’s important to note that this high-class brothel welcomes both men and women, as well as couples.
Frankie’s Pizza

Frankie’s Pizza is a late-night spot that offers pizzas, home-brewed cider, craft beers, and loud rock music. One of the best pizzas here is all-vegan made from capers, olives, garlic, and San Marzano tomatoes. Pinballs, leather booths, black-and-white tiled floor, and band posters make Frankie’s Pizza a unique party spot in Sydney’s CBD.
Unfortunately, Frankie’s Pizza won’t be here for long since a new metro station will be built in its place. Since this is not going to happen before mid-2022, this bar intends to say goodbye to its guests with a live music program full of special events and promotions. Good news — the city plans to relocate Frankie’s Pizza to a new location, but until then, stop by the old bar and see why it’s legendary.
Finally
Sydney has something for everyone. Music, food, pleasure, and dancing are part of the best nightlife in the city, attracting millions of visitors from all over the world. Just bring your good spirits and out on comfortable shoes because you won’t be able to stop yourself from having fun all night long.
